Elizabeth Garzarelli

I've always been fascinated by life's deepest questions.

  • Why are we here?

  • Why do some people feel instantly familiar?

  • Can healing extend beyond this lifetime?

For more than thirty years, I've had the privilege of walking beside people during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Again and again, I've witnessed that profound healing doesn't come from someone else giving us the answers. It comes from reconnecting with the wisdom our own souls have always held.

Today my work is devoted primarily to Between Life Soul Regression, Past Life Regression, Induced After-Death Communication (IADC), and spiritually integrated healing. My greatest joy is helping people discover a deeper sense of purpose, peace, and connection to who they truly are.

Tree with deep roots

My path has never fit neatly into a single profession.

For a time, I worked as an executive recruiter in the corporate world. I've also lived experiences that profoundly shaped my understanding of healing. I grew up in an interracial, adopted family with nine children and, as an adult, found my birth parents. I am also a cancer survivor, now more than ten years beyond my diagnosis.

One of the greatest turning points in my life came after surviving a devastating earthquake in California that left me with multiple broken bones and severe PTSD. Through EMDR, I experienced firsthand the remarkable capacity of the human mind and spirit to heal. That experience transformed not only my own life, but ultimately the direction of my career.

As a licensed psychotherapist, I spent decades helping people heal from trauma, anxiety, grief, and life's many transitions. Yet I increasingly found myself drawn to the larger questions many clients were asking—not simply how to heal, but why certain relationships, losses, and life patterns seemed to repeat themselves.

That search led me to hypnosis, Past Life Regression, spiritually integrated psychotherapy, and eventually Between Life Soul Regression.

When I discovered the work of Dr. Linda Backman, I felt I had found the missing piece. Training with one of the world's foremost pioneers in Between Life Soul Regression profoundly expanded both my professional work and my own understanding of the soul's extraordinary journey.

Today I have the privilege of helping people explore questions of purpose, recurring life themes, grief, spiritual awakening, and the deeper meaning behind their experiences. Whether someone is seeking healing from emotional wounds or longing to understand their soul's path, my intention is always the same: to create a safe, compassionate, and grounded space where profound insight can naturally emerge.

My Approach

My work blends traditional psychotherapy with transpersonal psychology, Jungian thought, Internal Family Systems, hypnotherapy, EMDR, and soul-centered regression work. I offer both licensed psychotherapy and non-clinical spiritual sessions, honoring each person's beliefs and meeting them exactly where they are.

While my own spiritual life is deeply meaningful to me, I welcome people from every faith tradition—and those who claim none. My role is never to tell clients what to believe, but to help them discover what feels deeply true for them.

Beyond the Therapy Room

Outside my practice, I'm the co-founder of Quietude Retreat Center, a place dedicated to healing, contemplation, creativity, and community in the mountains of Western North Carolina. I also co-founded Black Mountain Wellness Center and Inevitable Grace, Inc., organizations created to foster spaces where people can heal, grow, and connect.

I'm an artist who creates bowls from recycled paper and objects gathered from nature, a lifelong lover of music—from rock and punk to funk, soul, and R&B—and someone who believes that creativity and spirituality are deeply intertwined.

Over the years, many of my clients have affectionately nicknamed me "The Deepener." I smile every time I hear it because it captures the heart of my work. I love helping people move beneath the surface—to the place where healing becomes remembrance, where fear gives way to understanding, and where we rediscover the quiet wisdom of the soul.
